Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel at 10:00 a.m., then head towards the mountains surrounding San Cristóbal de las Casas to reach the ecotourism park called El Arcotete, which takes its name from a stone arch that has formed naturally over the centuries. Beneath it flows the Fogótico River, an important water source for the region; there you will find the entrance to the impressive Arcotete caves, which we can enter and enjoy this environment inside the mountain. We will be able to admire stalactites, stalagmites, and interpret different rock formations depending on our imagination. After this unforgettable experience, we will transfer to the Rancho Nuevo Caves Ecotourism Park where you can go horseback riding, zip-lining (activities at an extra cost), observe deer, slide down the fun giant slide, and explore the cave with 750 meters of depth through an illuminated path surrounded by stalactites, stalagmites, and other geological formations, or simply take a walk through its ocote pine forest. After this beautiful visit, we will return to San Cristóbal de las Casas, arriving at your hotel by 3:00 p.m. End of services.
